Felix is an American Flamingo. He is the heart of the film and represents the film's true queer identity, that pride and self-discovery matter to all.  His character pushes the story to follow him as a natural flamingo in the zoo, to a celebrative artistic drag queen in the city life. The art of drag was a high priority to create possible outfits and scenes of the film.
